Nokia N97

Nokia's N97 should be released in the first quater of 2009. Nokia's new flagship phone is certainly an impressive one, and provides strong competition for the devices in its category, packing all the usual features associated with Nokia devices and a whole lot more. its touch screen with tactile feedback is a welcome advancement, and would make the use of the touch screen a more interesting experience. they have also added a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out, so you can actually have a choice of using either interface. Nokia calls it the "world's most advanced mobile computer." and there is enough evidence not to doubt that claim. Other specifications are HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooth radios, A-GPS, a 3.5-mm headjack, 32GB of onboard memory with microSD expansion, for a possible addition 16GB of memory and a battery capable of up to 1.5 days of continuous audio playback or 4.5-hours video. 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss glass and "DVD quality" video capture at 30fps, too.

Looks like good package. Quite impressive. But will all these features cramped into a tiny device work? Wondering how they handle heat dissipation.

Not sure the cover design is as good as E90. Looks girlish rather than a business phone. Looks a bit bulky but I guess it's a trade off for the features.

I think I want one.

And the price...?
